Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Collins is an Mexican American Sportscaster. Her current role is a sportscaster for ESPN, working as anchor for SportsCenter news and hosting SportsNation. The first time she worked at ESPN in the year 2016. The child of the journalist on television Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is bilingual and has been since her age of nine. Her ability in this area has helped her get her first position at Univision, Miami. She could work as a producer for national programs such as Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. Her first job was as reporter for The CBS St. Petersburg affiliate following that. Then, in 2009 the reporter moved to Rio Grande Valley Texas where she worked for KNVO TV 48 Univision as well as Fox2 News. In reporting on news stories about drugs and immigration issues across the border of Mexico and Texas. Border, she worked as reporter for news for KNVO TV 48, the Spanish channel KNVO TV 48 at 5 pm, an anchor for the news channel in English at 9 pm and then a news anchor for 10 pm, and then returned on the Spanish channel. Additionally, she was host of on the regional Univision 23 sports show Accion Deportiva Extra. She was a host of sports for the morning show of Despierta America Deportes. She also played the role as Primer Impacto on UniMas Network, and Contacto Deportivo for its magazine show. Antonietta Collin's parents originally hail from Veracruz Mexico. The girl was born on November 22nd on the 22nd of October, 1985 in Mexico City. There is an older sister. In 1992 her family left Mexico and moved to Miami. After a short time, her father divorced from her mother and she later remarried in the year 1995 to a naval architect named Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo passed away from kidney cancer in 2006. On a family vacation in Ohio, the young Collins was able to take a job along with her sister. Antonietta was a senior in high school who had a vision of how she wanted her future to be, visited Mount Union University in order to find out whether the university was suitable for her. The result was that she liked the campus and that the school had the program she desired. Her high school graduation was in the spring of 2004 and was enrolled in media studies at the university. Mark Bergmann - her professor and director of WRMU (91.1 FM) in which she was a part of. The passion he had for journalism as well as her self-confidence inspired her. She in turn attempted to live up to the standards he set and to not disappoint him.
